Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup flour
½ cup cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Orange candy melts
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter
in the microwave. Combine with sugar in a medium bowl. Add the eggs and
vanilla, mix until well combined. Set aside. In a separate bowl combine the
flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips, stir to combine. Add to the
wet ingredients. Spray and lightly flour a square baking dish (9x9 or 8x8).
Pour batter into the greased dish and bake for 35-40 minutes or until cooked
through. Let the brownies cool in the pan. Once cooled, melt the candy melts in
the microwave and drizzle over the brownies. Enjoy!
Tip: Substitute leftover Halloween candy
for the chocolate chips. Chop up candy bars, or use M&Ms.
