Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread




Ingredients:
2/3 cup shortening
2 2/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 (15oz) can pumpkin
2/3 cup water
3 1/3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 ½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips

Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar. Add the eggs, pumpkin and water, blend together. Add everything else except the chocolate chips, mix well. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into 2 large, greased loaf pans. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool for about ten minutes and remove loaves from pans. Cool completely. Enjoy!
