1 stick butter
1 bag mini marshmallows
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place yams in a large pot (in batches if necessary) cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until fork tender. Let cool. Remove the skins. Dice in about 1 inch cubes. Place in a 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle generously with brown sugar. Cut butter in cubes, dot around on top of brown sugar. Next, layer on the marshmallows, using about ¾ of the bag. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly and the marshmallows are nicely browned. Enjoy!
